Where to begin the Bulletin ARG

Follow the community-documented Bulletin trail from Mob Entertainment's Keep Watching teaser through the Poppy Playtime Discord messages, Miss Delight's interrogation, location photographs, a locked attachment, and the Next Time recording. The decoding tasks involve inspecting the bulletin board, repairing damaged webcam image data, finding hidden letters in photographs, and assembling the password for Miss Delight's attachment.

02

Place the clues before the Early Access release

Community accounts date the Bulletin sequence to October 14–16, 2026, before Escape from Playtime entered Steam Early Access on October 21, 2026. Keep that timing in mind when comparing the promotional story trail with discoveries in the released game.

The earlier October playtest hid a significant amount of lore content and omitted some puzzles. The released Early Access game and the planned 1.0 launch are separate stages, so use the release context when comparing older puzzle discussions with current gameplay.

03

Follow the clue sequence

  1. Inspect the bulletin board in Mob Entertainment's Keep Watching teaser, which shows Boogie Bot and introduces the Bulletin clue trail.
  2. Read the Poppy Playtime Discord messages to follow the story into the interrogation involving Miss Delight.
  3. Work through the damaged webcam image data to complete the image-repair portion of the documented puzzle.
  4. Inspect the location photographs for hidden letters, recording what you find so you can assemble the attachment password.
  5. Enter the password assembled from the photograph clues into Miss Delight's locked attachment to access its contents.
  6. Watch the subsequent Next Time recording for the schoolhouse scene in which CatNap approaches and attacks the camera.

Keep your original letter transcription beside any phrase you assemble. If a reading seems awkward, revisit the photographs before changing letters to fit a theory. Saving your working notes makes it easier to retrace a mistaken interpretation.

04

Separate story discoveries from game unlocks

The bulletin board, hidden photograph letters, and CatNap recording are narrative clues connected to the setting and its experiments. The attachment password belongs to a file puzzle: it is not a Steam product key or cosmetic redemption code. Completing that puzzle does not establish a requirement for unlocking a playable Critter.

Keep what a clue depicts separate from an explanation of a character's motives. For example, the Next Time scene depicts CatNap approaching and attacking the schoolhouse camera; an interpretation of why he does so is a separate theory.

For lore inside the released game, search for the notes and posters around the factory, and bring VHS tapes back to the Perm-A-Lounge to reveal their lore. The lore update introduced 12 notes and posters bearing strange scrawled words. Keep those exploration discoveries separate from the Bulletin attachment puzzle when tracking your progress.
